Sperrin Switchgear Ltd was founded in June 1996 by Niall McGuigan (Technical Director) and Terry Reilly (Sales Director) and is situated in Draperstown. Niall and Terry have already gained over 45 years experience in electrical switchgear manufacturing companies. The company currently employs approximately 30 employees ranging from Electrical supervisors, Electricians, Apprentice Electricians, Fitters, Assemblers and Office staff.
Since the company was formed, it has maintained a high quality in the manufacture of Main Switchboards, Sub Switchboards, Motor Control Centres and P.F.C Equipment etc. All panels are assembled using an ASTA certified busbar system and CE marked components from manufacturers like Groupe Schneider, ABB, Siemens, Dorman Smith, Mitsubishi, Terasaki, Square D and many more.
